each man is wearing a hat and two hats are concealed.

Each man can see the hats that the other two are wearing but he cannot see his own.

No man can see the concealed hats!

when asked the question "what colour hat are you wearing ?" the first two men reply "I have no way of knowing ". the third man however knows exactly the colour of his hat.
